Weight control
Exercise helps to reduce weight gain, or lose weight continuously, through the calories burned when exercising, as it is possible to participate in the gym or increase daily activity and move continuously.
Improving mood
Contributes to exercise. Exercising in the gym or walking for half an hour improves mood, as physical activity stimulates the secretion of chemicals in the brain that promote feelings of happiness and relaxation, and exercise enhances self-confidence and self-esteem by getting a better appearance.
Improve muscle and bone health
Exercise, along with adequate protein intake, stimulates muscle building, and among those exercises is weight lifting, because it helps to secrete hormones that enhance the muscle’s ability to absorb amino acids This leads to their growth and the reduction of their loss, in addition to protecting the elderly from injuries and disabilities because they do not lose muscle.
Raise energy levels
Exercise contributes to raising energy levels in a healthy person, and in people who suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and other serious diseases such as cancer, HIV (AIDS), and multiple sclerosis.
Reducing stress
According to Cedric Bryant, senior exercise physiologist at the American Council on Exercise, exercising increases relaxation, improves mood, and reduces depression and stress. This contributes to a feeling of happiness and less stress in life, thus improving the relationship with others.
